DIY - Hijab Puff

I recently came across a DIY from youtube about making your own hijab underpiece.  I had bought a few of the clip-on underpieces when I was last in Dubai (which you can see in the above picture).  But after my friend broke the last one I owned....I decided it was time to give that tutorial a go!  The results? A great hijab puff that's easy to use!  Since I've been getting quite a few questions on how I keep my hijab 'volumized', I thought....why not let my readers in on the fun too.  The process is quick, easy and fabulously affordable.  I especially need these little 'poofs' under my hijab since I recently cut my hair to chin length and there is little hair to help keep my hijab looking 'full'.  I recorded the steps and made a step by step for y'all to enjoy! If its a success for you, let me know how it goes.

You will need:
1. A loofah
2. An elastic
3. Scissors
I bought my loofah from the dollar store.
You can use either one or two, depending on how big you like your 'hump'.
I used one and it sufficed.

Step 1: Cut the rope holding the loofah together.

You will get a result like the one on the left.
Here you can see what the loofah looks like before and after being cut.

Step 2: After cutting the loofah, put your hand through the entire length of it.
Keep pulling until the loofah is all the way through.

Step 3: Grab you elastic and pull it through the length of the loofah
so that there is one end of the elastic on each end of the loofah.

...pull the elastic all the way through...

You should be able to grab one side of each elastic

Step 4: Tie a double knot.
Thats it! your final product should look like the one above.

Fluff it up to your desired 'puffiness'

This is your new scrunchie hijab puff.  Tie your hair into a ponytail and wrap this around your ponytail.
Can't wait to see the results you guys all get!
So there you have it.  I hope you guys enjoyed that. I was pleasantly surprised with the results.  I'm sure you will be too.
